Gently Used FurnitureBoth the H.E.R.S. program and the T.H.E.I.R.S. program are in need of a serious modern upgrade in household furniture for our common areas - such as bookcases, end tables, wall decor, and other decorative items as well. It has been a long time since we have had such donations and our furniture reflects this - and upgrade is definitely due. We would be very appreciative if you would be able to deliver these items to us if you are in the vicinity - but if not, we may be able to arrange for a pickup. Please get in touch.
Household ItemsDo you have any household items that you no longer need? we could use tupperwear, children's themed kitchen goods (our children range from age 3 to 14) and other unneeded goods. We would definitely appreciate donations of general cleaning supplies and yard supplies such as black trash bags. Every penny you could help us save can help us attend to the needs of our women and children! Thank you so much!
Are you a church or civic group? Please consider raising some money to purchase movie tickets for Hannah House's kids to go to the movie theatres, Chuck E. Cheese, or other outings with their mothers or volunteers. You can either give us gift certificated for these outings (McDonalds, movie theatre, etc...) or provide us with a monetary donation to help us along the way. Many of our moms are struggling to save money to move into their own place and save emergency funds for when they are independent on their own, and often don't make enough with their jobs to take their kids out as much as they'd like to. Your donations would mean the world to them to allow their kids some quality outings.
